There are countless benefits from drinking green tea.
Green tea has been used for centuries and more recently the medical community is starting to take an interest in the many medicinal benefits of green tea.
Green Tea has one of the highest concentrations of antioxidants.
Green Tea contains 30-40% flavonoids, and the most abundant of these are the Catechins. The Catechins are high in epigallocatechin gallate - commonly called EGCG - which is are so much more potent than other antioxidants
Green Tea also contains Vitamin C and Vitamin E.
All teas actually contain EGCG, but green tea has a lot more than black tea.
The antioxidants in Green Tea fight against aging, from the inside they will fight many of the serious health risks you may have to face, on the inside the will fight the visible signs of ageing.
Just by drinking green tea on a regular basis you may prevent a chronic illness from taking hold.
Some of the latest studies seem to credit green tea as a powerful defense against:
The abundance of antioxidants in Green tea can help prevent the cell damage that could either cause or make these conditions worse. They will also promote cell regeneration.
Green tea is rich in antigens and is a great booster for your immune system, allowing it to make a better fight of common colds and the flu.
The best news is that drinking green tea can have some fat-burning benefits.
How? Well the EGCG and caffeine in green tea helps to increase the metabolism, which in-turn can causes your body to burn fat faster and reduce fat absorption.
If your worried about caffeine and its negative side-effects you will be pleased to hear that green tea has 50% the amount of caffeine than coffee and it also contains theanine which is an amino acid that counteracts the negative side effects of caffeine, like insomnia, restlessness, hyperactivityand dehydration. Theanine is said to increase brain power and concentration.
Drinking 3-6 cups of green tea per day is recommended to achieve its maximum antioxidant potential.
I brew a special mix of Green Tea, Herbs, Spices and Fruit then pour it into a jug and sterile plastic bottles. After chilling it in the fridge, I drink it regularly throughout the day.

Drinking Green Tea is so good for your health and many ways, so its important to find a green tea drink thats affordable, easy and yummy.
If you have ever bought and enjoyed the iced green teas available in any shop that sells coca-cola then you probably have a sweet tooth and buying those everyday is going to get expensive.
So first of all you can make your own iced green tea at home, but if you prepare the green tea and chill it before you add the sugar it just wont taste as nice as the shop bought ones.
What you need to do is heat the water, sugar and tea together, just be really careful not to boil green tea as you will kill some of its flavor and health benefits. Make up a large pot of green tea (2-3 litres)
You could also try honey instead of sugar and add a fruit for flavouring (lemon or peach will work well).
Another idea is adding some herbs like mint or spices like ginger.
When you get the flavor right, let it cool down and pour it into a jug or sterile plastic bottles and stick them in them in the fridge.
This is then so much easy to drink your quota of green tea everyday, when it has all been prepared earlier and taste fantastic.

Stumbled across this on Yahoo answers…
“My fingernails are deplorable! They are brittle and have striations in them. Are the products they advertise on TV really worth buying?”
While I don’t know of the TV ads in question here, believe it or not there are actually some Green tea Products out there that target your fingernails.
“Are they taken internaly, or are they put on the nail itself?”
After some research I found a number of products by NutraNails.com that claim to strengthen and improve your nails by painting on the Green Tea Nail Hardener.
It’s supposed to work by putting antioxidants in contact with the nail and these then help to fight off free radicals that destroy the nails. But I thinks its more of a marketing startegy than actual science as your nails are already dead.
Personally I think you are better off taking some calcium supplements and also trying things like Biotin, Silica, L-Cysteine, and Vitamin B (in the form of oral supplements). These products will increase the health of new nail growth, so while you are waiting you could apply some nail polishes that contain strengthening resins.
This is a great Green Tea Product thats works great »

Should you drink green tea 6-10 times a day or just take a “green tea extract”?
You can lose weight drinking green tea, but you need to drink more than 6 cups a day which is good for burning ~80 calories and possibly better then an extract as the absorbtion is panned out over the day.
You can drink green tea with you main meals, subsitute your regular tea and coffe for green tea and also prepare a large batch of green tea the day before and place it in the fridge to be taken as a cold refreshing drink and substitute for water.
Drink it unsweetened of course or if you have to, you could add a little honey or fruit.
Arizona Green Tea is good and poular brand readily available throughout America.
Drinking green tea should not be the only thing you do to loose weight so combine it into your diet and exercise program. I prefer to buy a high quality green tea from China, the following website is very useful when deciding which chinese green tea to buy. I hope you find it useful as well » Chinese Green Tea
Taking a green tea extract is a really easy way to maintain the benefits of green tea because most people will eventually stop bothering about preparing and drinking green tea and switch back to thier old habits. So taking a Green Tea Extract in the form of a pill is a great way to get the same benefits from 6-10 cups in one easy second.
I research a lot of Green Tea Extract Pills online and this only one I buy…
